There is a wide choice of excellent French dishes and their lunch and early bird menu is exceptional value for money. An must for any discerning diner that is missing the closure of Le Artisan last year.

Three of us ate from their early bird menu 3 amazing courses each plus a very nice bottle of wine,3 coffees, two ports, two beers ,large bottle of sparkling water ,a lemonade and the bill came to £196 which we thought was excellent value Each course was delicious and really well presented Between us we had pate and haddock soufflé to start , 2 steaks ( cooked to perfection ) and pork belly and desserts we had chocolate fondue , tart tatin and rhubarb crème brûlée and it was honestly one of the best meals we have ever had . The restaurant is right up near the end of the high street ( a bit further up past most of the shops ) and so I don’t think it gets much passing trade ( we were the only ones in on a Friday lunch time )which was a real shame for them as the food was exceptional !! Do go and try out the best steak in Cheltenham you won’t be disappointed

If anythng very understated. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience overall. Food was outstanding. Beautifully presented and a cacophony of flavours. Not huge portion sizes - more nouveau cuisine - but savoured every mouthful. We understand the chef trained under Gordon Ramsay which explains why the food was so good! The service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
